UCC Honors Small Businesses

On June 4 the United Chambers of Commerce held their Small Business of the Year event to recognize outstanding small businesses here in the San Fernando Valley. The Honorees were chosen by their member Chambers as examples of small businesses who have shown their ability to excell in their individual fields. Our SFCCC was proud to nominate Rosa Ruvalcaba and her sister Elizabeth Mendez, owners of Alas Media, for the 2026 honors. Alas Media is a professional video production company located here in San Fernando, and has a wide range of expierence telling stories through video for customer like schools, businesses and many many others. The event was attended by over 100 people with 8 chamber members in attendance to support our winner. This event is another example of how your SFCCC is highlighting the businesses of San Fernando on a larger stage to bring a higher profile to our vibrant business community.
